The Breakdown

The 6th Annual National Championships, hosted by Big Time Hoops in Virginia Beach, is a showcase event for top boys and girls teams, ages 9U to 18U, from across the nation. The tournament has been expanding each year and features multiple skill level divisions: A, B, and C.

Travel Airports: Teams have the choice of Norfolk or Richmond airports.

Registration
Due to high demand, early registration is highly recommended to secure a spot for the 2026 event. Teams have frequently been turned away in the past due to late registration.

Pricing and divisions
The tournament features two pricing tiers, with registration limited to the first 50 teams for the standard rate.

Automatic Bid (for qualified teams) – $279
Teams that placed 1st or 2nd in the Gold Bracket or 1st in the Silver Bracket of a previous Big Time Hoops multi-day event (between Sept 1, 2025, and July 10, 2026) are eligible.

Standard Registration – $429
Limited to the first 50 teams to register.

Yes and No, Big Time Hoops DOES NOT guarantee schedule requests. However, these requests must be submitted well in advance and are subject to approval based on the overall scheduling needs of the event.

Note: The best chance of having your schedule requests honored is to register and pay early, as those request submissions have priority over teams that register later.

Final rosters must be submitted by 9 PM on Thursday of the event week. Teams must access Exposure Basketball using the SAME CREDENTIALS used to register the team. To update your roster within Exposure Basketball, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Exposure Basketball account with your registration credentials.
  2. Click "Teams" in the left column.
  3. Click the Team that you wish to update.
  4. Click "Players" and then click "+Player"
  5. Enter for each player: Full Name, Uniform Number and Grade
  6. Save your changes to ensure the roster is updated.

Schedule is normally published on Tuesday night, week of the event. Teams should access schedule by going to https://bigtimehoops.net/schedules/

Age based events. Teams must register according to the oldest player on team.
