The 8th Annual Texas TakeOver is one of the nations premier travel event in Duncanville, TX. Open to all boys and girls basketball organizations ranging from 9U to 18U age groups. The tournament guarantees each team at least three games, with pool play on Saturday and bracket play on Sunday. This tournament serves as a qualifier for the Big Time Hoops National Championships.
Big Time Hoops employs a team self-assessment approach to ensure teams are placed in appropriate pools, fostering competitive games and a high-energy atmosphere for players, coaches, and spectators.
Skill level breakdown
The tournament features three skill levels for team placement:
“A” level teams: National Travel teams that have competed in multiple championship games.
“B” level teams: Teams that have won bracket or playoff games at Regional level tournaments.
“C” level teams: Teams with Parks & Rec experience, potentially newly formed teams.

Big Time Hoops has a long history of hosting various basketball events since 2011, including showcase, collegiate combines, one-day challenges, and NCAA certified tournaments. In 2026, they are expanding their offerings and anticipate a maximum of 80 teams for the Texas TakeOver tournament.

The entry fees for the tournament are structured by age group:
Ages 9U – 14U: $299
Ages 15U – 18U: $359
Multi-team discounts are available, and the system automatically applies them at checkout.
